Susie Clements Kiely
Susie Clements Kiely, from Fairfax County, Virginia, received her BA in History at UVA. She served as a Resident Advisor for three years. Following graduation, she began her 32-year career with the Federal Government. She and her husband enjoyed assignments in Washington, DC, and New York City, while raising three children. In the Department of State, she served as US Delegate and Political Advisor at the US Mission to the United Nations. At the Central Intelligence Agency, she served as Executive Officer, managing resources of the Counterintelligence Center; manager of the CIA Director’s Historical Review Panel of distinguished advisors from academia; manager of the CIA’s contribution to the Foreign Relations of the US series, documentary volumes published by the State Department; and Intelligence Community Representative to the Joint Space Radar Program Office. As a volunteer, she served 10 years on the Supervisory Committee of the Northwest Federal Credit Union. Now retired in Virginia Beach, VA, she enjoys her grandchildren and golf.
